Aluminum Oxide Sanding Belt

High processing efficiency: The abrasive grains on the sand belt have stronger cutting capabilities than those on grinding wheels, with high removal rates, grinding ratios, and machine tool power utilization, enabling rapid removal of excess material from surfaces and improving processing efficiency.

Excellent surface quality: Belt grinding combines the multiple effects of grinding, lapping, and polishing, with low grinding temperatures, minimal system vibration, and high stability. This effectively prevents defects such as burns and cracks on workpiece surfaces, achieving lower surface roughness values and favorable residual stress states.

Strong adaptability: Belt grinding can be easily applied to flat, internal, external cylindrical, and complex curved surfaces. Parameters such as backing material, abrasive, binder, grit size, length, and width can be selected based on different processing objects and requirements. It can also be designed into specialized grinding machines or integrated as functional components into other machine tools.

Low operating costs: Belt grinding equipment is relatively simple, with lower rigidity and strength requirements for machine tools compared to grinding wheels. Additionally, belt replacement and adjustment are convenient, reducing auxiliary time. Due to the high grinding ratio, efficient power utilization, and cutting performance, the tool and energy costs for removing the same weight or volume of material are reduced.

High operational safety: The sand belt itself is lightweight, posing no risk of injury to Homo sapiens even if it breaks. Unlike grinding wheels, belt grinding does not suffer from severe abrasive shedding. The grinding debris mainly consists of the workpiece material, making it easier to recycle and control dust. Additionally, processing noise is minimal.
