Composition and Characteristics

Main composition: It is composed of zirconia corundum abrasive grains, binder, and abrasive belt base (such as sandpaper, paper, polyester film, etc.).

Performance features: Zirconia corundum abrasive grains have slightly lower hardness but higher toughness and strength, fine crystal size, good wear resistance, and excellent self-sharpening properties. They can continuously generate new cutting edges during grinding, maintaining the sharpness of the abrasive grains and thereby enhancing the surface finish of the workpiece being ground.

Grinding Advantages

High-efficiency cutting: The self-sharpening property of zirconia corundum abrasive belts enables them to maintain excellent cutting performance continuously during grinding, with a high removal rate. They can quickly remove the excess material surface, improving processing efficiency, and are particularly suitable for heavy-duty grinding. Cold-state grinding: Especially the zirconia corundum abrasive belt with the third coating has a self-lubricating effect, which can lower the temperature in the grinding zone, form cold-state grinding, reduce the deformation and burning defects of the workpiece caused by grinding heat, and improve the processing quality.
